Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd had an amazing 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia gave Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd took her match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina through the ground and pound strategy which resulted in the TKO second-round victory. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd finished Evinger in the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
